dumb day

All the dumb things happened today.

In the morning...

*phone rings*
me: hello
unknown: may i speak to gary please?
me: gary...? *thinks of STS*
unknown: Loke XXX XXX?
me: uhm yes?
unknown: how do you pronounce your name?
me: clarice
unknown: ok. i'm calling from NXX office of admissions, do you have a brother?
me: yah
unknown: is he in NS?
me: ......he's 30
unknown: oh ok. that's about it. bye!
me: .....

To think they called me 3 times within an hour so that they could get me to answer such questions.

I suppose I've decided which uni to go to now.

Early noon (after lunch)...

Mgr(from other dept + location) : *starts laughing*
me: ?!?!?!?!!?!?
Mgr: your green frames. LOL
me: ..... -.-
Mgr: okok, i'm just not used to it.

No wonder every time i see him, he looks as though he's trying hard not to laugh. I finally know why today. Next time i'll arrange all his interviews at 9pm. =P

In the afternoon (almost time to go home)...

vp: where are the grey drawers?
me: at the back
vp: *walks to the back* ???? where?
me: *points*
vp: *looks puzzled*
me thinks to self: SHIT! it's brown. -.-"
vp: this is brown. brown drawers, not grey.
vp: LOL. *goes back to meeting*
me: .......

Thanks to my colleague. Last time he wrote "GREY drawers", so i followed. I should have checked. Totally embarrassed myself.

After that i went to the toilet with boss, and she asked me what colour are the leaves. -.-"

Now everybody thinks i'm colourblind. SIGH. Life is sad.
